My House My Life Brazil (Minha Casa Minha Vida)

Minha Casa Minha Vida or My House My Life is the Brazilian government's social housing initiative for low-middle income families.

USD$1 Trillion of Investments

The national program is available to low income families who normally would not be able to own a home due to lack of income, personal savings and notable credit history. It is part of the Brazilian growth acceleration program (PAC 1&2)and it focuses on investments in the areas of logistics, energy and social development, organized under six major initiatives: Better Cities (urban infrastructure); Bringing Citizenship to the Community (safety and social inclusion); My House, My Life (housing); Water and Light for All (sanitation and access to electricity); Energy (renewable energy, oil and gas); and Transportation (highways, railways, airports). It is currently estimated that this program could attract upward of USD$1 trillion of investment from when it began in 2007 to beyond 2014.

Investors can get on board from as little as USD$35,000

The Minha Casa Minha Vida opportunity now exists for private equity to fund these development projects. Individuals can purchase single or multiple units from a developer, fund the construction and sell to the end-user Brazilian family. The Minha Casa Minha Vida program offers as much as 100% financing through the Caixa National Bank at very low interest rates.
